Unique Portland Activities!

Posted on June 10, 2010
Did you know that you can take a Pedicab tour of Portland Distilleries?  Did you know that we have three distilleries in SE?  Portland has such fun, unique things to do in and around town and I feel like I learn about something new every week.  I want to know about more fun activities.  Not only for myself but to tell out of town clients.

Post a comment on this blog about unique activities that you know about and the most unique and interesting will win a "Solv Oregon Owner's Manual" - a collection of fun historic reflections and information about activities across the state and "Eat. Shop. Portland" - a guide to interesting eating and drinking in Portland!

Myllissa inspired me to think of this one: play old school arcade games while drinking beer at Ground Kontrol!

Play "Ocean Hunter" (there are only three of these games in the US) at the Avalon nickel arcade! You can read more about it here: http://myllisa.com/2009/12/31/save-your-nickels/

Not sure these are all that interesting or creative, but here are some must-do's when in Portland:

- Hike in Forest Park - Get a doughnut from Voodoo - Eat at a food cart - See Multnomah Falls - Shanghai Tunnels

Hey Rach!

Here is something i have really enjoyed. Supporting community gardens particularly in some of our neighborhoods who could really use them. Lots of vollunteer opportunities, great for kids, and great for the communities/environment.

The Urban Iditarod is one of my favorites! Happens every March and is put on by Keep Portland Weird. Come up with a theme, "borrow" a shopping cart, race around Portland to different bars...super fun!
